TUNNEL CLOSURE: Maintenance closure of southbound Highway 99 tunnel overnight tonight at 10 pm until tomorrow (Saturday) at 8 am.
I waited for the 8:20 116 bus at Morgan Junction for 25 minutes until giving up and taking a C line. Not sure if it was running? Just started taking it – does it just not run on Fridays?
The 116 is dependent on the ferry…if the ferry is late, the 116 is late. You can check the Ferry dock cams for Fauntleroy and see if the busses are still there waiting.
@Ginak… the 8.20am 116 can be unreliable. It is often late, by as long as 8-10 minutes… or sometimes it does that vanishing act where One Bus Away still says it’s coming and then it changes to the bus is gone without the bus actually showing up. What you’re saying happened to me a few months ago too. There were a few more people at the bus stop and we all reluctantly walked to the C line stop. If you’re new to taking this route, the 8.00am and 8.10am from Morgan Junction are a lot more reliable and on time. And way faster than the C line in getting downtown.
