He looks like a shiba I saw walking with his peeps yesterday (7/22) at the WC Jubilee days; hope he gets home soon, he looks like a keeper!
Dollars to doughnuts he is in fact the Shiba at Jubilee days. If anyone knows these folks, please send em my way.
Have you posted in Craigslist? Is he microchipped? I approved your meetup request and you may post this on the meetup group. He is a cute little guy. Thanks for picking him up. I have seen a woman walking a dog just like this one in Higland Park along 13th Ave and Cambridge
Please post signs and let the Seattle Animal Shelter know about this dog. Do not assume that the people who lost it know about the WSB or Craigslist. I helped a gentleman who lost his dog a few weeks ago after seeing a post in the Blog and found out he did not even know it existed. The shelter is the first place most people will go to. It would be sad if they are looking for their dog and it gets given away because all appropriate venues were not alerted.
Update – He is not chipped and is currently at Seattle Animal Shelter and has not been claimed as of noon today. I simply can’t take him on right now or I absolutely would. Update – As of today this dude has not been claimed by his original owner. He will be up for adoption at Seattle Animal Shelter this Saturday (tomorrow). There are already pre-adoption paper filled out meaning someone has first rights to adopt when they open. Beyond that, I’ve had a ton of inquiries from folks looking to take him home. I have no doubt he will be going to a new, happy home tomorrow but if you have interest, his case # is 8284. Curious to know the details on his being reunited with his owner… He was so close to being adopted to another one.
