I seem so functional on the outside running my own dog training business but unfortunately I still suffer from the effects of major depressive disorder. One of the things that I still have problems with is memory. I have to ask my students to email me things because if they dont, I will never remember. Todays memory casualty was my ATM card. I left it in the ATM machine. Some kind stranger found it, delivered it to the grocery stores manager and within about 15 minutes I had it back in my hands. Thank you fellow BECU member.

Happy Tails and Puppy Kisses to you kind stranger! You should have some good karma coming your way soon.

People generally are good. One day I was at the Y and my daughter hit my hand while I was getting my Y cards out of my wallet. My credit card fell out and went under my car without my knowledge. The next day I still didn’t even know it and I went back to the Y and they gave it to me saying someone turned it in. So nice! It was a backup card that I don’t normally use (teach me not to have it on me) and may not have even noticed I lost it for months or until I got bills for it.

I lost my passport several years ago when I was carrying it around for ID due to a lost drivers license. If you’ve ever lost a passport, you know it’s a hassle (and expensive) to replace it. Just as I was about to send in the paperwork, someone had actually driven to my old residence and left it in the mailbox (luckily I’m still friends with the landlord).

Whoever that person was gave me 2 more years before I had to replace it!

I lost my Visa card one in the Harborview parking lot. I called Visa, and by the time I did someone had already called in the find. I was able to pick my card up from the nephrologist who found it.

    .

Years before that, my mother managed to drop her wallet o the SPU campus. It was turned in with all cards and cash untouched.

    .

Now, if only my bracelet lost at Lowman Beach park or Camp Long would show up…

My best friend recently lost her debit card. A lady found it, googled her, found her on Linkedin.com, messaged her and then mailed her the debit card. She had it a few days later. :)

I think that most people are overall good! :) Glad you got your card back! Karma works both ways! :)

AS a reminder that karma works both ways, I will probably be enrolling our puppy Dory (and maybe our 4 yo dog Lola for a refresher) in Mary’s puppy class after seeing the link from this post.
