Over the Air HD antenna in West Seattle

Hi all, Seaview area here. We dumped Comcast a few years ago and went to the HD antenna. Everything has been perfect except that channel 4 is pretty spotty…sometimes it is perfect, sometimes it is super distorted. It has been like this for the last two years, but I’m finally asking about it here since the Oscars are unwatchable tonight.

My question: anyone else in Seaview area using HD antenna, and what is your channel 4 like?

I still have not figured what causes the signal to be poor. Sometimes some channels are poor. For me (in arbor heights area) channel 4 is always good signal. I find sometimes depending on the channel the orientation of the ariel makes a difference. If you check the site it can give you an idea where the broadcast is from. I’m not sure how much difference the antennas make. Some may be more directional than others. I don’t think the ones that say they have signal boosters are any good. I think with the digital broadcast you either get it or you don’t.
