Just wanted to share–my boyfriend is horrendously ill and my coworker was out last week due to norovirus. We work in the same building, albeit different floors in West Seattle.
I’m starting to feel sick, and just as a PSA–wash your hands. It’s one of the most contagious bugs out there. If you’re sick, please stay home and only go back 48-72 hours after symptoms stop. (That means a week off of work!)
Bleach is the only thing to kill it and norovirus can live on surfaces for up to 2 weeks. (Lysol and Clorox wipes do not work–much to my chagrin.)
Hate to be the tummy virus alarmist, but our household doesn’t wish this on anyone, ever. It’s gross.
