Unleashed Dog Camp offers kennel free boarding and day care to friendly dogs of all kinds. Located on 25 acres in SE Renton, it’s paradise for humans and dogs alike.
We are currently looking for drivers for our West Seattle and also our South Seattle day camp van route.
If you love dogs, are comfortable walking with a group of 12 dogs in an off leash environment, are exceptionally reliable, have a clean driving record, love to work hard and be outside, this is the job for you!
Responsibilities include picking dogs up from their homes, driving them to camp in Renton, walking around with them in a large fenced area, cleaning them up and bringing them home at the end of the day. You will also communicate with clients regarding their dog’s behavior, any changes in scheduling, and texting them pictures of their dog on a work issued cell phone. Keeping the van clean as well as the dog areas (poop scooping) is also important.
Our vans for these routes are parked in West Seattle and South Seattle, so you would drive or take the bus to the van, then drive the van to transport the dogs.
A background check will be performed prior to hiring. Ability to walk among running and playing dogs across uneven terrain and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds is also required.
Hours are 9am to 4 or 5pm M-F.
Teamwork, attention to detail, flexibility, independent thinking and problem solving as well as an enjoyment of a fast paced work environment are also essential.
To apply, please send a resume and cover letter as well as references who can speak to your reliability (stellar attendance) and teamwork skills by replying to this post.
