alexiscookParticipantHi, we just relocated to West Seattle and love it so far. We are looking for a daycare or a nannyshare for our infant son. Does anyone have any suggestions? We are on the waiting list for Bright Horizons already. Thanks

vogelParticipantFauntleroy Children’s Center is excellent. We’ve used them from infancy through pre-k and they’ve exceeded our expectations consistently. We also looked at Bright Horizons and Providence, but Fauntleroy was the best fit for our family.

tttParticipantFauntleroy Childrens Center is good for a child older than 3. My kids were there for a while and I loved the 5 year old-room teachers, but the toddler rooms weren’t the best care. They have many nice teachers, but they sit in one place and yell across to children and many talked about each other behind their backs. I I talked to the head teacher and the teacher about it, but didn’t feel like I was really listened to. I was not impressed with those teachers and luckily a place opened up at Providence Mt St Vincent at the Mount. What a blessing!!! They are absolutely wonderful and my child LOVES to go there. He is so much happier when I pick him up than he was at FCC. I HIGHLY recommend the Mount for all ages they serve. Good luck! It is difficult to find a place that has openings and difficult to find an opening in most childcare centers in west seattle.
