Anyone been to Meanders?

I dropped by earlier today, but couldn’t stay since it was smaller than I realized (and was with a toddler!). However, it looks like a place that’ll serve up a killer breakfast, so I’m anxious to try it out.

Anyone out there tested the waters yet?

Had breakfast there yesterday with mixed reviews. Arrived around 8:20am, got the last two seats available. Could tell that it would take some time before we would get breakfast so got a cinnamon roll to tide us over – it was sticky and delicious. Coffee wasn’t ready yet but helped ourselves when it was brewed – nice and strong. Took close to half an hour before our order was taken, but food did follow pretty quickly. I really enjoyed my punk house hash-epic version as both breakfast and lunch as there was plenty leftover. Boyfriend had the smoked salmon potato pancakes which, he said, were too starchy and not enough salmon.

As a one-person operation I think we’ll have to expect that it’s not going to be a quick breakfast stop but more a leisurely social experience. I definitely plan on going back, but not confident I’ll get the boyfriend to go with.
