brandybMemberWe are looking for an amazing, confident, outgoing, kind nanny for our 8 year old boy and 5 year old girl.
Our son is an engineer, he loves Lego’s, city hero’s, anything spy related and Nancy Drew books! He is attending Hamlin Robinson (he is dyslexic and also has aparaxia of speech) and will need to be picked up in West Seattle at his car pool meeting point. He is very smart, loving and generous. Our daughter is a dare devil! She loves everything her brother does, plus arts and crafts, baking, and playing with her dolls!
We are looking for a nanny who has a valid drivers license, full overage insurance and someone who has CPR/First Aid training.
The hours would be Monday-Thursday from 2:45-5:30. On Tuesday our oldest has speech therapy in the Admiral Junction at 5pm and will need to be dropped off. During the 30 minutes between dropping him off, and meeting one of the parents at 530, you could take his sister to the library or park nearby. We are looking for someone willing to do the monthly early outs, the last Wednesday of each month (2 hours early), teacher in service days, and school holidays/vacations. We are also open to someone looking for a few extra hours each week by doing errands (Costco/trader joes/safeway/drycleaning) and a date night every other week or so would also be ideal. We are hoping to find someone who will be with our children, but aren’t opposed to a share if we can find a great match, but we are looking for someone to care for the children in our home.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our ad, best of luck in finding the right family for you!

brigetteParticipantHi,
I am a 50 year old female living in West Seattle/North Admiral area. My recent experience has been providing care for children whose ages ranged from 2 months to 11 years. I have been a summer sports fitness camp counselor (ages ranged from 6-12) for 5 seasons. I am certified in first aid/cpr for infants and adults. I am current with my food handlers permit and am current on my shots. I have a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Elementary education. My priorities regarding children are safety, consistency and laughter. I am dependable, flexible with hours and timely. I own a car and have an excellent driving record.
I love the outdoors, long walks, music, reading, going to the beach and animals. I have excellent references.
I thank you for your consideration,
Brigette Meredith

brandybMember@briggette you responded to my ad on care.com
Your reviews have you intoxicated and “acting oddly” while caring for children.
Sorry, that won’t work for our family.
@janS you can contact me via email. A_nanny_4_you@yahoo.com is the best way to contact us. Thanks, we look forward to hearing from you!
(It may also be used by additional candidates who would be interested in the position if desired).

DianeParticipantso, brandyb is a nanny agency? not a private family?
September 29, 2015 at 3:01 am #827958
brandybMemberDiane,
No, I’m not an agency. I am a former professional nanny helping the family I’ve been with the past 5 years find a new nanny. I’ve had the email for many… Many years (before the agency even!). If you’re interested please feel free to send us an email.
Bridgette, if that is the case please contact care.com to get the review removed… the only other review was from your daughter so it seemed a little off to me. Thank you for your interest, but its not a risk we are willing to take.
