Sorry to say but Abbondanza closed their doors last Saturday.
I am sad to see this. It was a wonderful little authentic neighborhood restaurant with friendly owners.
No signs or notes left behind. Too bad.
I wish Roseanna and Francesco all the best and hope they let their old customers know where they are planning to open a new restaurant. I hope it will be in West Seattle.
a new restaurant called ‘Peel and Press’ is due to open in that space in a month or so. Pizza will be the focus and the new owner plans on keeping a lot of Abbondanza’s menu. He’s also applied for a full liquor license.
