You are invited to participate in a Black Lives Matter demonstration Tuesday, May 17, between 4:30 and 6:00 PM, at 16th Ave. SW and SW Holden St.
The recent atrocity—the mass shooting of Black people in Buffalo, New York— is an urgent call to speak out and take action. Together we can build the strength and unity to stop these terrible events. Every action, every voice makes a difference.
There continues to be a warm response to the weekly Black Lives Matter demonstrations at this intersection. We stand with our signs and wave at the commuters. Many people wave back and honk their horns. They would be heartened to see a good turnout on Tuesday.
Some signs will be available, or you can bring your own.
Coming for a short time is fine.
