Spring Work party for this Saturday, March 14, 9:00 to 1:00.
Cindi Barker will be here at 9:00 am to discuss options for grant money procured by MoCA to improve pedestrian safety about on lower Orchard Street. Now that the new plants are in we need to do our weeding and mulching magic to cut down on watering needs for new and existing plants this summer. Great job with the planting – things are looking good for spring. We’ve made tremendous progress in since the blackberry and clematis days! You can all be very proud of your efforts to improve the Ravine area for wildlife and the environment! Same marching orders as usual–watering, weeding, and visiting with neighbors. We need lots of help to get things ready for those hot summer days. Don’t forget your gloves. We’ll have coffee and treats!

SATURDAY MORNING-AFTERNOON: Tibbetts United Methodist Church continues its annual Spring Rummage Sale. Tibbetts has been having these sales in West Seattle since the 1970’s (at least!) and there are plenty of books, clothing for all ages, furniture, toys, household goods, baby items, seasonal items and much more – for everyone! 9 am – 3 pm on Saturday (tibbettsumchurch.org)
