You say goodbye, I say hello

Turnover in Morgan Junction: The door at Manila Cafe (across from the future monorail site turned future park ‘n’ pub) is papered over, and a liquor-license ap is posted. Says the place is going to become “Kokoras Greek Grill.” The state site identifies the applicant as “Spiros Greek Island Enterprises.” Goodbye, adobo; hello, gyros!?

I just got a take-out gyro there–damn if it didn’t smell so good I had to wolf it down while trying to drive home! Maybe that’s how they do it in Greece, but what I did was obviously dangerous and stupid, but that’s the risk I’m willing to take for a gyro that good! The place is really small, maybe 6 or 7 tables, but had it been full I definitely would’ve waited!!

    YUM! I’ll go back!
We split the two person lunch combo and had plenty left over to make one of us happy at dinner! Drop your dog off for a bath at the Wash Dog (next door) and go for lunch.

If you are looking for great Greek food, Kokoras is the the place to go!! Not only is the food excellent but the lunch prices are easy on the pocketbook! You will not find a better gyros anywhere!

Sorry, comment time is over.
