they aren’t all Thanksgiving day.. but they are all thanksgiving related.

WSBKeymasterWest Seattle has its traditional free Thanksgiving Day meal catered by Tuxedoes and Tennis Shoes at their Hall at Fauntleroy. Every year they tell us they have plenty of volunteers – but they do accept dessert donations and also usually donations of warm clothing etc. that are available for anyone in need to pick up while there (although the dinner is for EVERYONE, not just those in need/low-income, and we have heard over the years that many enjoy it as a wonderful community event).
I don’t have the formal announcement for this year’s event yet but it’s definitely on Thanksgiving Day, usually noon-3 pm.

amaliaParticipantJust a note to consider – most places get plenty of volunteers on Thanksgiving! You might consider volunteering on another day (or the first of every month or something) and considering it your Thanksgiving contribution.

CarolMMemberWe will be hosting the Free Community Thanksgiving Meal again this year on Thanksgiving Day between noon and 3 PM at the Hall at Fauntleroy. This will be our 15th year and we are excited that this year the Seattle Design Center will be creating centerpieces for the tables! (Tracy, I will get this info to you via email today too) We may still have some room for volunteers this year so give a call. We are accepting desserts and also warm clothing such as coats, gloves, hats and blankets. Last year we had a big demand for these items and we ran out quickly. They can be dropped off at the Hall on Thanksgiving Day from 9 AM on. Please call our office at 206-932-1059 if you have any questions. Thank you, Carol
