Hey guys, I have no idea where to go with a broken window. My car got broken into for the second time in 3 months. Given that I drive a 2000 Dodge Neon that’s quickly reaching “P.O.S. status” I have no idea what these people are thinking…

Have any of you had window repair in WS or near WS? Any suggestions?

The window of one of our cars was broken a year or two ago, and my husband just called some window replacement place and they came out to the house and fixed it while we were at work. It ended up costing $250 I think (for a rear window on an SUV)- I have no idea what company he used, but when you call around ask if they’ll come to you. That way you don’t have to drive around with a broken window. I never had to deal with this issue before so I was impressed they did house visits, which for all I know is standard…

Sorry I’m not more help on specifics though. And that stinks about your car- mine has been broken into so many times I’ve lost track, but that feeling of violation is always there.

We use Big E Auto Rebuild on 146th and Ambaum in Burien for all our auto repairs. But for a window I would call my insurance agency and ask them which glass company to use. sometimes the deductible will be waived.

Sorry for your car to be broken into I once had my entire car stolen and the feeling is horrible.

I went to Thoroughbred Repair on Fauntleroy and they did a good job.

Thank you for your input! I’m heading to a place in Greenwood, it’ll be 140 dollars which is the best deal I found after calling a couple places, plus they got good reviews :)

Also, sorry about your cars getting broken into/stolen. It’s crazy to think that people would actually go those extremes for stuff like gps units and ipods. Weird.
