carrieannMemberYou’re the second person to mention that place to me this week, JenV. I’ll definitely check it out, soon. Thanks! (Can always get an order of TB cream puffs afterward, on the way home. ;)

josie2006MemberTry the zuppa di vongole (italian red clam chowder) at La Rustica…we’ve been addicted to it for years. Ask for a little parmesan on top!

inactiveMemberI haven’t been over there in awhile, but earlier in the year Freshie’s, across from WS High, was doing some very nice soups. I cannot remember the owner’s name, but she was doing them herself in fairly small batches at the time.
I really enjoyed them….and there is a big fireplace in there as well!
And, then my favorite, not exciting, but so nourishing and warms me to the bone good – El Salvador’s chicken soup. It’s all about the fresh broth. I’m too lazy to make broth. Yum.
Ellenator – howza’ about rumball dumplings?

AlkiKmacParticipantBest french onion soup in Seattle is at The Rocksport. I keep trying it all over Seattle, but no one has beat it yet. Great price, too.
Stanley and Seafort’s in Tacoma is the best french onion soup I’ve ever had anywhere.

KatherineLParticipantI’ve been buying the boxed Pacific brand French onion soup at PCC. Pretty good, and it comes in a small container. I don’t have to eat soup for days.

ellenaterMemberThe boxed creamy tomato is outta site, also. It’s either Pacific or Imagine brand.

SueParticipantAs long as we’re talking about the Pacific/Imagine soups at PCC, I like adding cornstarch to the Imagine Portobello Mushroom soup and making gravy out of it, and pouring it over egg noodles.

ZenguyParticipantI am a big fan of anything you can make into gravy. Imagine Homes Simpson drooling noise here.
