Bee Festival is officially back and we are excited for you to join a fun-filled day with all things related to bees! A smaller festival this year, we are focused on you, the residents!

Buzz Run (9:30 AM – 10:30 AM)

Start your day off with the kids in a two for one race where everyone is a winner! Buzz Run is one part race, one part treasure hunt. Both race and treasure hunt will start at the same time at the Bee Garden. Choose how you want to compete!

Race: The first three to complete the race course will grab a special prize!

Treasure Hunt: Don’t like running or think you can win both? Find the bees “trapped” in jars. The person with the most bees at the end of the race will get their own special prize!

Extra Special Hunt: How did the bees get trapped in those jars you ask? Well, there’s a tale of a special bee gnome that traps bees in jars to take back to their own garden. The gnome made a mistake and somehow trapped themselves into their own jar! If you can find the gnome, trapped in their own jar and finish the course, you’ll win your very own special prize!

Community Clean Up (10:45 – 12:30 PM)

Join your neighbors and friends with a clean up of the community. Grab a bag, picker, gloves and another person to pick up where you think needs the most attention! Refreshments will be available!

Bee Festival (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Your day ends (or begins) with our official Bee Festival with our community partners.

Do you garden or want to garden? Stop by the P-Patch from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM to meet with Master Gardeners and ask them anything plant related!

We’ll have different organizations with information and free swag for you that are all things bee related! A free demonstration and learning course from Puget Sound Bee Garden and honey will be for sale. Get the kids active with activities galore and swing by to grab free plants and seeds from all of our community partners. You can’t miss this year, it’s catered to YOU!
