Friday May 8th, 7:30 pm at Kenyon Hall, enjoy a performance by The Syncopaths.

From dance floors to concert halls, the Syncopaths bring a fresh, contemporary spin to music and songs rooted in the Scottish, Irish, and American folk traditions. Evolving beyond their contra dance origins, they are creating a “chamber folk” sound characterized by the compelling, rhythmic interplay of fiddle and mandolin, rich vocals, and unexpected colors and rhythms from the piano and bodhrán. The exuberant joy they derive from the music and each other is palpable and contagious. For more information, please visit www.syncopaths.com/.

Reserved table seats are $14. Row seating is $12 general and $10 seniors. With a reservation, row seating is only $10 general and $8 seniors. Elementary, middle, and high school students are $5. Preschool children are free.

It was a wonderful performance! Great vocals, fantastic instrumentation, good variety of music. Kenyon is a great place to hear a group like this. I’m told that they make it up this way fairly often, see them if you get a chance
