When are we due for another bridge update? I thought there was supposed to be something at the end of April but must have been mistaken. Thanks!

I have a request out today for the latest, so watch for an update here later. Information otherwise emerges in bits and pieces. SDOT continues sending Friday newsletters. Councilmember Herbold’s weekly newsletter, sent on Saturday (and viewable online), had information that did not appear in the Friday SDOT update, saying she’d been told Thursday that there are only two structural-concrete pours remaining, not three. Perhaps helpful to remember that SDOT has said they’ll give one month’s notice of a reopening date, so at any given time before that announcement, we’re at least a month out. The next community meeting likely to have a bridge briefing from an SDOT rep is the West Seattle Transportation Coalition, May 25th. – TR

Sorry, comment time is over.
