    Thanks

Just called this afternoon. Denny does not have a tour scheduled yet. Nor an estimate for when they will have one.

It is good they offer daytime tours I was a working parent but I made sure I scheduled a couple mornings off so I could go see the schools in action. The schools usually have a day time tours and a night time tours it is good to go to both. During the day you can see passing periods and check out classes in action full with students. Night time tours give parents and students more time to ask questions with out the school being full. Some middle schools will take their 8th grade students to the tour for you.

just the auto message that they are walking madison students over *if* you write them a permission slip (include phone number)
as far as taking time off for this there is no way w less then 24 hour notice for me to do that…hoping they stick w the feb. date so I can plan ahead work wise for that tour.

    to “question”-
The middle schools expect & excuse students on HS tour dates. Its the only way you can see the schools with students, interacting with teachers, etc. Most kids do the daytime tours without their parents, who do the evenings (or both).
For Sealth- last year they scheduled both day tours on the day that the whole school has “study hall” which really did not allow for checking any classes/teaching in action. Very dissappointing & poor planning. I hope they avoided that conflict this year.

Sorry, comment time is over.
