Spud.com had a booth at the WS festival. On Friday night when it was quiet, I discretely went over to talk with the woman there (keeping my voice down so I wouldn’t detract business, and no one was at the booth at that time anyway) and told her about this thread. I explained how I had no personal experience with her company, but that they needed to know what was being said on a very popular and influential website, and I suggested that she have a representative of her company check it out to address what was being said. I even told her where to find the WSB people a few booths away if she had questions on how to find the thread.
She seemed appreciative to hear about it, but I don’t know if they’ll actually follow up. I would hope that any company truly interested in customer satisfaction would care about what was being said, so hopefully they will.
