MENTORS NEEDED!!!

Empower Mentoring Program is looking for volunteer mentors to mentor middle schools students at Denny International Middle School. As a mentor you would meet individually with your student twice a month doing activities of your choosing. Once a month the entire group of students and mentors attend a workshop that teaches the students skills to deal with different topics they come in contact with in middle school, such as cyber bullying, internet safety, healthy living, drugs and dating, and more. We also sponsor an outing once a month to help grow group community, and give you and your student options of an activity of one of your two outings.

Mentors have to be 21 years old. Time commitment is from November-June for 6 hours a month. The group workshops take place the first Thursday of every month from 6:15-8pm at Denny International Middle School.
