Monthly work parties – just drop by!

We need some serious help at this weekend’s work party to:
-reshape (weeding and turning in cover crop) the brand new children’s garden which has had exceptional growth (should we rename it the children’s forest?)
-pluck the ever present horsetail from beds
-continue clearing the overgrown area we hope to convert to a native shade garden

If enough person power, I’d also love to collect seeds that we can later contribute to the Seed Library at High Point SPL. (we have some buckwheat and phacelia cover crop going to seed, cosmos, columbine and lupine too!)

When is the work party? This Sunday Aug 4th, 10-12pm
What to bring/wear:

Your gardening spirit (no experience necessary)
Water bottle
Sunblock
Close-toed shoes
We have a selection of gardening tools and gloves available but if you have a favorite from home, please bring it, we love learning about folks’ favorite tools.

I’ll bring bagels from Blazing Bagels so let me know if you’re coming so that I can be sure to have enough.
