Croft Forest Restoration with DNDA!
Saturday, February 29th, 10 am – 2 pmReady to get your boots muddy? Join us for a fun, invigorating afternoon of volunteer restoration work! You and your fellow volunteers will assist with invasive plant removal, mulching, or planting native plants, depending on the progression of the site’s restoration. We will be working at the forest outside Croft Place Townhomes, an affordable housing unit managed by DNDA. This forest drains into Longfellow Creek, which hosts spawning salmon and is an important tributary to the polluted Duwamish River. If you’re interested in habitat and wildlife preservation and enjoy working outdoors, you’re in the right place! Sign up at dnda.org/dnda-nature/volunteer
