As part of the celebration of the West Seattle Chamber of Commerce’s 100th Anniversary, the Chamber
has challenged the West Seattle Junction Association to the first ever Battle for West Seattle—a charity
softball game benefiting the West Seattle Food Bank and White Center Food Bank!

This charity softball game is being hosted by The DubSea Fish Sticks at The Fryer. Tom Hutyler, the public
address announcer for the Seattle Mariners and West Seattle Local, will be announcing the game. The
softball teams are made up of amateur players from local West Seattle businesses. It’s sure to be a
home run, so come out to cheer on your favorite nonprofit or business!

All Ages General Admission Tickets are $12/person and ages 3 & under are free. Things are heating up
with the competition, so get your tickets now at http://battleforwestseattle.com! Sponsorships are also
available for businesses wishing to support this community event.

Participating Organizations:

West Seattle Chamber of Commerce is a 501c3 business advocacy nonprofit founded in 1923 and
currently made up of nearly 270 businesses. The vision of the Chamber is sustainable economic growth
of a diverse, viable business community on the Greater West Seattle Peninsula.
West Seattle Junction Association is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Business Improvement Area (BIA) in the heart
of West Seattle. The Junction Association merchants produce many community events throughout the
year including Art Walk, Summer Fest, West Seattle Outdoor Movies, Harvest Festival and Hometown
Holidays.
The Dub Sea Fish Sticks are a summer collegiate baseball team based out of West Seattle, whose home
stadium is located in White Center, WA. The team was originally founded in 2015 as the Highline Bears
and has been rebranded as the Dub Sea Fish Sticks. The team plays its games at Mel Olson Stadium
which is located inside of King County’s Steve Cox Memorial Park.
