This was my truck and I had just gotten a few things out gone inside for no more than 10 min came back out and it was gone. The thief  punched the door lock and ignition quickly and quietly. I was very fortunate to find it rather quickly and with minimal damage. Most importantly I retrieved all my tools. If you have a work truck be on high alert.

This nearly happened to us with our work van.  Home parked for only 30 minutes in the middle of the afternoon and I saw a strange vehicle on our street running and then noticed someone in the van about to steal it.  I ran him off but couldn’t get a description.  We no longer leave the battery in it and always block it in the driveway with another vehicle.  You’re very lucky you were able to find your truck with tools still in it!

Sorry, comment time is over.
