Fairmount Playground‘s upgrades are done and it’s open for the serious business of having fun. “Granny Annie Lenssen” shares this photo of someone who already gave it a test run:
Just wanted to send you this photo of my grandson, the official First One To enjoy the newly updated park with the ferry, swings, climbing net, and more. You can tell from his expression that he’s loving it! And this is in pouring rain! The workers had just removed the fence and said he was the first one to visit!

My kids tried it out Sunday morning (just for a while – too cold and windy!).
I’m hoping some park benches (for us “elders”) are planned in the future but my kids give this revised playground a thumbs up!
no grammar malice intended, TR. as you can see, i play fast and loose with the [shift] key. and your team is usually pretty remarkable with the lingua franca. i thought maybe you had some subs working the front page while you’re on the east side of the continent.

regarding fairmount playground, i guess i’ll have to check out the ropy jungle-gym for myself. it’s pretty close to redblack HQ.
