West Seattle Weekend Lineup: More than Seafair

Those musicians are from the Duwamish Dixieland Band, recorded after the West Seattle Memorial Day event two months ago. Tonight, you can see them in a more festive setting, again absolutely free, as Providence Mount St. Vincent kicks off its monthlong series of Friday night outdoor concerts (and “The Mount” is joining WSB as a sponsor to make sure you know about it) … the first-ever Edible Garden Tour (free!) … a major beach-volleyball event … and the next West Seattle Movies on the Wall presentation, with WSB presenting this week’s movie … and the Delridge wading pool will start opening on Sunday (as first reported here) … more than 40 events ahead:

I hope people will attend the edible garden tour. It’s *totally* free. All you need to do is go to their website, print the map (or write down the addresses) and go!

I forgot to mention – since the tour is free there are no tickets, which some people have asked about.
The posters around town that say something like “more info at Junction True Value” are talking about the maps they have at the store. Save yourself the trip and just print the map off the website.

We will also put up one more standalone reminder on the garden tour first thing tomorrow morning. We’re planning to stop by at least one or two of the gardens ourselves, should be fun!

Sorry, comment time is over.
