Monday starts this years Legislative Session. Education is the paramount duty of the State. The future well being of the State depends on a well educated workforce that will increase future wealth of the State. There will be tough choices to be made!

Education is the top priority and is specifically called out in the State Constitution. The State has short changed Education spending since 2000 to the tune of $2.5 billion dollars; based on State fiscal data showing growth in State spending on Education has significantly lagged the general growth rate in State spending during the same time period.
