Thanks to Carolyn for the heads-up on this: From Seacrest east/southeastward, a sizable stretch of parking on the water side of Harbor Avenue SW (she estimated 25 spaces) will be off-limits tomorrow, 10:30 am-7 pm. The “no parking” signs were up when we went by this afternoon to verify; they list an unnamed “production shoot.” The Water Taxi is of course served by free shuttle buses as well as Metro Route 37; get the bus schedule via a tab on this page.
Don’t know if this is related, but today just south of Seacrest there was a photo shoot going on for Nautica. I was launching my kayak, and talked a little bit to one of the folks operating the “Skillet” food truck, which was there doing the catering. Could be the same tomorrow.
Drat, we have out of town guests and we’re planning on going. Are there any pay lots near there these days?
Grey’s Anatomy, Patrick Dempsey specifically, was shooting on the Bainbridge ferry today (Thursday). Could be them.

When the hell is retro going to linknat least one bloody bus to the water taxi? Just route 128 to there! The shuttle does not go enough places to use. The taxi to the capacity it could be used.
Kelly M, take your guests to Salty’s for lunch. You can park in their lot. Yes, there are no pay lots along Alki. That gave me a Friday morning chuckle. :-)
just to the south of Salty’s, actually kind of connected to their parking lot, is a little public shoreline area that has parking.
