FOUND DOG: White German Shepherd, taken to clinic

We had a client bring in a stray dog that was in his front yard this afternoon. She is a white German Shepherd, very nice. She has no microchip but was wearing a black and red easy walk harness. She is with us at VCA West Seattle and we will hang on to her until the end of the day and then we will have to call the animal shelter to pick her up. Our phone number is 206 923 3552.
UPDATE: Owner reached
(Elaine & Mark reported a deceased cat in Gatewood and city not able to pick it up, so they took it and put out word looking for the owner. She was found; see comments.)

LOST CAT: Dave in Gatewood

Hello, our all black cat, Dave, has been missing for a couple weeks from the 3700 block of SW Southern st. (Gatewood). He has a slight bronze tint to his hair and slightly shorter hair on his stomach from an operation in Jan. He is very friendly and spends a lot of time outside. He was last seen wearing someone else’s collar after losing his break-away. I suspect someone took him in, as he is not fixed or chipped. Please contact Chris at 206 291 0944 with any information, Thank you!
FOUND CAT: Near school on Delridge

Found this cat around 9:45 this morning outside Louisa Boren STEM K-8 on Delridge. It seems like it’s a young indoor kitty because it was sitting confused in the middle of the street. I think it’s female, but haven’t been able to get a good look or a really good photo as it’s been exploring my house since I got home.
I rang a few doorbells nearby and no one recognized it, so I figured I’d bring it home for now and see if anyone recognized it. It’s got a white chest, feet, and tail tip.
It’s very friendly, headbutting and purring, but it wanders around meowing pitifully for its people.
If no one comes forward, I’ll be taking it to the Seattle Animal Shelter midmorning tomorrow.

FOUND DOG: Taken to clinic

Found dog at California and Raymond at 10:30am, no tags, very friendly. Waited with it for a bit to see if it would go home, no luck. Took her to West Seattle Animal Hospital at 11 am, she is microchipped. They said they would try to contact the owner and if no luck she would go to the Seattle Animal Shelter.
