The last inch or so of my daughter’s violin bow, away from the grip (if grip is even the right term), has completely snapped off. The nice thing about this bow is that the wood finish perfectly matched the violin.

Is it possible to repair such a major break? If not, where might a suitable matching replacement be found? Thanks…

I got my bow at Bischofberger Violins on Capitol Hill. They have them for every price range, and there’s a workshop too–I don’t know if your daughter’s bow can be fixed, but they could at least take a look at it.

Thank you. Since Bischofberger is so much closer, I’ll check them out and let you know how it went.
