    Hi Neighbors!

We need to get a couple of trees transplanted and a few stumps ground down. Do any of you have a recommendation for someone that could do that?

We had Stonehedge come out today and remove some trees (they were *awesome* BTW!), but their stump grinder was too big to get to the stumps, and they don’t do transplants.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey WSgolfer –

    My .02 about transplanting:

If it were me and I had a choice, I would wait till well in to the cool rainy season to transplant a tree. Even better, I would wait till February. This heat… I wouldn’t risk a high value tree in it.

Thanks for the info westseattledood! Unfortunately, the poor maples need to be transplanted ASAP as major construction begins next week that would seriously jeopardize them.

    WSG,

Check with West Seattle Nursery, I’ll bet the owner Mark and is a sponsor here. You may also want to contact WS golf course where many trees have been transplanted and planted. John Price is the head grounds keeper or talk to Colin Gants head pro.
