Surely someone local is still doing small appliance repairs these days. Any referrals would be appreciated?

Amazon.com is local. Unless this is a $150+ toaster oven it might not be worth it. Try Scott Wiseman, but I’d buy a new one that got high marks on Amazon and hope for better luck. Depressing but likely true.

JayDee, Thanks. My toaster oven was not terribly expensive, but it’s barely 5 years old. Planned obsolescence at its finest.

If you really are wanting to get it fixed: Ajax small appliance repair on first ave (just south of home depot, west side of street). they repaired a cuisinart for me. Not sure it’s worth the price though but they can tell you for sure.

Thanks. I decided to Google the model and parts suppliers. Looking into that right now. It’s just a toaster, for heaven’s sake!

Where’s good ol’ Emmett when you need him? ;-)

    Andy Griffith Show Trivia:

According to IMDb, Opie appeared in 40 fewer episodes than Andy. 209 vs 249.

Kinda surprising. I might have believed 10 or 15 fewer….
