JoBParticipanti tried the wsb only search function to bring up the ants forum topics and failed miserably no matter how i formatted my search.
i did get plenty of non-WSB entries though :(

Alki WarriorParticipantI saw a comment here somewhere, can’t remember where, that they were working on the site doing this and that to it.

metrognomeParticipantTR has mentioned in posts in a couple of threads that the search function isn’t working. The problem is being addressed as part of the ‘overhaul’ of the Forum software which is underway and should take a few months.
In the meantime, try this: go directly to Google and enter ‘westseattleblog.com/forum+ants’ which will get you 2,950 hits. Unfortunately, ‘Forum’ appears on every page in the top nav bar, so results aren’t restricted to Forum threads. You can use Google Search Tools to narrow date ranges but it doesn’t seem to sort by ascending or descending dates. note: this doesn’t work with Bing.
You can add more qualifiers; ‘westseattleblog.com/forum+ants+exterminator’ gets you 1,300 hits. If you remember who participated in the thread, you can try entering +name.
Also, the Advanced Search function yielded 0 results for the same queries, which is really odd.

trickycooljParticipantTR had set up a special link in a thread I asked about this maybe a month ago? I didn’t really have extended success with that either, but if you search the posts under my user page it might come up. I reply to a lot of the ant stuff too. Dang those ants!
