SDOT put in a new more protected crosswalk at 49th and Admiral. Next time you’re driveing Westbound(down hill) Look for the flashing beacon they installed on the west side of the street. It’s not only partially blocked by a telephone pole but they installed 2 new signs in front of it! Can’t see it untill you’re 1 car length away. Logic(yes i know,this is a government agency afterall) would have you think they would check it’s visability before installing. There are other beacon’s that are highly visable so it’s not like this was the only one.
