We got a rescue dog. 1 year old cutie. House and crate trained, knows basic commands, great with other dogs. Looking for good dog training classes as we are new to this and to develope his leash skills , Etc. Any recommendations in or outside of W Seattle? And if anyone has 36 in L wire crate we are in the market.

Puppy Perfectors she is in Georgetown, so parking can be a bit tough.

I have taken my rescues and my own dogs there.

    Very reasonable prices too.

Puppy Perfectors was the answer for the two pooches I’ve had in the last 20 years!!

Hi KK50, and congratulations on your rescue dog!

I am a trainer with Embark, http://www.embarknw.com. We do private training, in your home, if you happen to be interested in that.

If classes are more your style, I recommend Service Dog Academy in the Morgan Junction, http://www.servicedogacademy.com. I was Mary’s assistant trainer for almost a year and can vouch for her expertise. She runs small classes (usually no more than 6) so you get more individualized attention. Plus, the profits from her pet dog classes help to support her service dog program for diabetic alert dogs!

Good luck with your new family member!
