I needed last-minute alterations done on a pair of slacks. I first tried Golden Thread on California, where I’ve had excellent work done before. Today I was told they couldn’t accommodate my rush order, but they helpfully recommended WestSide Alterations down the street, who indeed were able to accommodate me. I have become so jaded by big-city living that it was a surprise and a delight to have one alterations shop recommend another. It is so greatly appreciated. West Seattle has a lot of gems both in the form of people and in small businesses.
