WS51664MemberRemoving my post. Lesson Learned: Don’t post when disappointed or angry.

I gotta jump in hereParticipantInteresting. I had the same happen to me with a previously-scheduled appointment with another dermatologist on her staff.
But then it dawned on me: doctors are human, too. I arranged another appointment and was well and professionally served at that office. Nonetheless, sorry you were inconvenienced as it is always so annoying.

kayoParticipantMaybe she was sick or had a family emergency? It sucks your appointment was cancelled, but doctor’s are humans, just like the rest of us, and stuff comes up. Not sure this is a worthwhile or fair public rant.

miwsParticipantWS51664, What did Dr. Arntzen, (or her office staff) say when you expressed your disappointment?
Though understandably extremely inconvenient, and frustrating for you, perhaps the “…something better to do….” was illness, or a personal/family emergency on her part.

Ms. SparklesParticipantDr. ARE human, but they’re also running a business. It’s bad business not to have a contingency plan such as asking another Dr. to cover for you.
The info added by Gotta Jump makes me wonder if this customer service issue is a result of the office culture. I understand your frustration WS51664, and I’m sorry.

star 55ParticipantSorry but Dr. Arntzen is the best. I can only imagine that she has a great reason for not being there for you. Please try again, you won’t be sorry.

wimsiklParticipantI’ve been seeing her for years and she has never disappointed. Sometimes she has run late but sometimes she has taken extra time with me when I have needed it. But she is super booked so I am fine if you go somewhere else! ;-)

We are sorry that none of the rescheduling options we provided to you worked for your schedule. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please don’t hesitate to call us at 206-937-8954 or email us at registration@westside-derm.
