Need architect and contractor recs for home addition

We are considering adding a fairly large addition off the back of our WS house. I’ve seen a lot of great additions on other houses in WS lately so I was wondering if people had recommendations for either a design-build team or an architect and contractor who they used for their remodel or addition.

We are not looking for a luxury/high-end result, just a quality construction with a reliable team who are easy to work with.

We have also had Chris from Raynor Construction do numerous projects. He is currently remodeling our bathrooms and added a beautiful porch. Highly recommend him; he is creative and works with you on coming up with solutions that meet your needs. Entire family, including our dog enjoy him. Great that he lives in West Seattle too as we try to support local as frequently as possible.

I’ve worked with PB Architects on my house and he has done numerous other homes. The principle, Peter B. is very talented and great to work with. He understands and respects the good qualities of the current space/design and seemingly always comes up with functional and cost-conscious solutions to the problems that inevitably arise when renovating/adding on.

I highly recommend Parie Hines, who also lives in West Seattle (and advertises on the blog!). She helped us with a major remodel and we loved her! She has a great sense of style, is easy to work with.
