Sunday a.m., and my dog has caught a bird (robin or thrush–unsure). He was gentle with the bird, but I know it was injured. We put it in a towel-lined box, then hit the web for wildlife rescue. Called two possibilities: one in Arlington (sarvey) and the PAWS in Lynnwood, about a 30 minute ride.They were both open and ready and encouraging. We drove to Lynnwood to deliver our bird. What a cool place: they put the bird on oxygen, said they will watch him/her, let us know the outcome, etc. They have live-action cameras on several of their rescues, including two bobcats.
