Google Plus (Google's social network) has a West Seattle community now

I don’t know if many of you are on G+ (news this week has it that it’s now bigger than Twitter), but I am and I love it. They recently rolled out the “Communities” feature so I started a few; one specifically for West Seattle, since there weren’t any yet. Here’s the link:

If you’re not on Google Plus and are curious, you’ll find it’s not like Facebook; as someone said, FB is about WHO you know and G+ is about WHAT you know. It’s more of a world-wide forum than a way to keep in touch with your real-life friends and family. It looks empty until you start participating and then circling interesting people. I’ve met some fascinating people from around the world there.
