Monday afternoon (May 26) on Alki beach my wife Mary and I saw a young couple on hands and knees searching in the sand. The lady said she had lost her engagement ring. We helped them look, but none of us could find it. They left to find a metal detector to rent and we decided to keep looking. Soon we were joined by a family of five and TWO passersby who had metal detectors. The couple never came back. They should call us at 206-743-8886. Peter
