2krazy4wordsParticipantjust launched FCAT’s (Feral Cat Assistance and Trapping) new website. still have some work to do … check it out and let me know what you think: http://www.feraltrapping.com

SueParticipantThe FCAT site looks great. My only feedback right now is that viewing it in Firefox, on the home page the name is only visible as “Feral Cat Assistance and Trappi” (the n is hidden in the white border, and the g is missing). It’s fine on all the other pages. Looks as if the font is slightly larger on the home page than the others, which is why it’s getting cut off.

2krazy4wordsParticipanthummm – used same font on all pages, but I’ll check it. Thank you! This is why it’s good to get different people looking at it – different systems/platform/browsers/etc can make a difference. Firefox and Safari view ok on mine, however I know that doesn’t hold true for everyone …

hammerheadParticipantthanks 2krazy, it does look great. My next goal is to get video and pictures of me trapping.
A local west seattle girlscout troop has taken FCAT on to ear their JR Bronze award needless to say I am honored. I get to educate them on the importance of s/n dogs and cats.
Also Friends of Animals and FCAT are going to a joint fundraiser in April once we get the confirmation on a date. Still trying to find a good venue.

2krazy4wordsParticipantok…as suspected seems to be font substitution issue…mostly PC but did get it to do the same thing on Firefox 2.0 for Mac (old version). Those on PC getting this issue, can you please let me know what version of Firefox you have (or browser/version with this issue). Thanks for the input!

SueParticipant2krazy, I’m on a PC and had the same thing happen using Firefox 3.5.7 and Internet Explorer 8, on 2 different computers.

GenHillOneParticipantI’m same as Sue – IE is wonky with home page, but other headers are fine. Thanks for all your great work on these!!!

2krazy4wordsParticipantok, swapped fonts so that should fix the problem – won’t look as cool, but being many of you weren’t seeing it’s coolness it should look the same only fitting (if not PLEASE let me know).
Also now has blog and video posted…good stuff! so check it out :-)
