June 19th is the last day of school for Seattle Public Schools. So any weekday the pool is open BEFORE then should be calm.

Also any cloudy or overcast day will be quiet.

The schedule is linked in the WS Weekend Lineup, both days. We like the 5-7 pm swim, which is family swim on one side and laps on the other. Open swim earlier in the afternoon. But that may only be the weekend schedule.

Pre-season weekend lap swim is from 12:00-2:45 and 5:00-7:00. I go at noon when everyone seems to show up but it thins out by 1:00. All eight lanes are dedicated to lap swim at this time. I can’t speak for the open swim from 3:00-5:00 but I imagine it’s pretty crowded (with kids) based on my time there last summer.

For regular summer hours, you should try to go at noon for lap swim, but I think that only goes until 1:30. I’ve never been able to go during the week at that time, but I imagine it wouldn’t be too crowded since most people are at work. Lap swim gets busy from 5-7, depending on how many lanes are available due to water aerobics or lessons.
