I see this post come up a few times a year and now it’s my turn! I’m looking for childcare for my 10 month old and I’m running into a lot of waiting lists. Anyone have a good recommendation and/or know of a daycare/center with openings?

We have a great home daycare in our neighborhood, not sure if they are accepting more children but everyone in the neighborhood raves about this home daycare.

We are also looking for child care beginning in August or September of this year. We will have an infant…interested in many different options (nanny share, in-home, larger center, intergenerational, etc.). Bright Horizons appears to have openings when they open in May, but it is a small fortune.

Any tips or leads are appreciated! I have called many, many places to no avail!

Hello!

We’re expecting our fist baby this summer and I’l looking for child care too, starting in Oct.

I found that many places won’t be able to let you know if they have a spot until 1 to 2 month before you need it…

I’m on many daycare waiting lists, and starting to look at other solutions too.

Would you be interested in sharing a nanny?

We live on Beach drive (63rd and Beach Drive).

I’m not sure if she has openings but a great home family center in the Highland Park area is Loving Hands Childcare. The owner is Shelly, her # is (206) 763-7047.She is great and has been doing this about 20 years I believe.
