Well, DHG… to paraphrase Justice Marshall… the thing about a right is once it has been established, there can be no delay. And while it is a struggle.. same sex marriage is not a civil right… not yet. Making the statement it’s a civil rights struggle.. no. Framing the issue correctly would be, are you voting to create a civil right where none has previously existed.

TanDL… are you aware of the world and how it is at all? There is a logical and historical context as to why this is true.. and understandable, there was no way to organize safely and illiteracy was much higher … but it is as it is. Did you not watch the Hilalry Clinton black church fiasco during the primary season?
