Just got late word of this, along with a texted photo – until 3 pm, you’re invited to the Genesee Hill Elementary lot for a car show organized by two fifth-graders. “Some cool cars,” we’re told – at least 14. The lot is off Genesee near 51st.
Well I’m giving these two 5th graders a D for Publicity, I live 4 houses away and didn’t hear anything about it until we saw a steady stream of a couple million dollars worth of beautiful 60’s American Mopar, Chevy, and Ford muscle rolling up Genesee…it was over! Dag Nabbit!
Maybe cut them a break. They are 11 years old, and they don’t need interactions with adult strangers who feel entitled to publically criticize them. Do you need to give them grades for anything? They just love cars and wanted to do something cool for their school.
Good for those two 5th graders for following their interests and strengths and organizing a car show! Well done!
