Crash at SW 102nd St. and 34th Ave SW.  Heard several seconds of screeching tires before loud crash, as if vehicle was going way too fast for this residential street.  Parents and kids in both vehicles.  Both vehicles have sustained major damage.  This lunacy seems to prevail during school pickups and drop-offs.

We got a call but were in the middle of something, headed over belatedly now to look. No 911 SFD callout so apparently no major injuries.

I called you earlier.  Police have come and gone.  There is one car remaining that could possibly be waiting for a tow.  I’m just glad no kids were injured…

Yeah, thank you, drove through on our way back to HQ, there was one police car left and the non-totaled car.

Been said before…..Seattle Times did a story a few years ago on school zone speeders. Due to complaints from parents and neighbors SPD did a morning and afternoon emphasis patrol around schools for a week. Final tally:75% of tickets given went to PARENTS dropping off or picking up their kids.

Sorry, comment time is over.
