UPDATE: Eastbound Spokane Street Viaduct exit to northbound I-5 reopens after crash

1:37 PM: If you’re headed for the eastbound Spokane Street Viaduct, take note that a crash has closed the exit ramp to northbound I-5, so traffic is being diverted. No details on the crash other than a driver is reported to have hit a barrier.

1:55 PM: The ramp has reopened, police at the scene have told dispatch.

Unfortunately this is non event for WS motorists!

Yes, actually, some people do choose to go that way. You might choose to get onto the Spokane Street Viaduct and head for I-5 that way; we got several texts about this.

I know some people still use the ramp, the point was it would be a big issue if the WSB were not closed!

Actually, depending on the day and time of day, it’s frequenly a lot faster to go up First Avenue to Spokane Street and get on there than sitting on the Michigan Street “parking lot” to get on I-5.

Sorry, comment time is over.
